Studio Performance Academy started in 2007 and is an award winning performing arts academy in the West End of Richmond (ages 7 to 18)! Our in-demand performance classes and summer camps are well known for true excellence where children learn the discipline of performing arts in a positive, motivational, and professional environment.
Studio P is more than an Academy, we’re a Community.
Director & founder, Ellen Papa, has been a professional singer, actor, vocal coach, director, and working member of the Screen Actors Guild for over 25 years! As a community service, Studio P also has student troupes that perform at events throughout RVA and dress as princesses and super heroes to bring smiles and magic to fundraisers all over Central Virginia! Giving back to the RVA community, is part of our mission! “Studio P is more than an Academy, we’re a Community.”
Studio P’s mission funds the non-profit organization, Music That’s Mine, Inc. that provides personally meaningful music for those where music will give comfort, joy and peace during the most challenging of times. Music That’s Mine sends music to people all over the world, www.musicthatsmine.org.
